Coconut and Cherry Bliss Balls

These are quick and easy to make. These are a delicious alternative to chocolate bliss balls. This is one of many allergy friendly recipes from Easy Allergy Free Christmas eBook. 

You will need…


12 Medjool dates, pitted and roughly chopped

2 cups desiccated coconut

2 teaspoons lemon zest

1 Tablespoon sunflower paste

1 Tablespoon Coconut oil

1 cup glace cherries, chopped finely (or fresh cherries, pitted)

extra desiccated coconut for rolling

What to do…

Place coconut (2 cups), dates, sunflower paste and coconut oil into the bowl of food processor. Process until smooth. Scrape mixture into a mixing bowl.

Stir in lemon zest and cherries until combined. Roll mixture into small evenly sized balls.

Toss balls into coconut. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
