You Will Need...
- 1 cup sunflower seed paste
- 75 g coconut oil
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 150g allowable choc chips
- 1/2 packet of *allowable biscuits (see below)
- 100g toasted seeds
What To Do...
In a small saucepan, gently heat sunflower paste, coconut oil, chocolate chips and maple syrup. Stir occasionally until heated through. When mixture is smooth, remove from heat.
Do not attempt to taste mixture at this stage - take it from me, it is far too hot and you will burn your tongue. Be assured it does taste delicious. Stir in crushed biscuits. Pour into a slice dish. Place in fridge until almost set, aprox 30 minutes. Remove and cut into pieces. Return to fridge until needed - now you can taste it!
* I used Leda choc chip biscuits for this recipe. Available at supermarkets in the health food section. They do contain soy. Always be sure to check ingredient labels
