Ingredients

  • 750 grams Chuck steak cut into cubes
  • 2 Tblspns Olive oil
  • 1 Tblspn Paprika
  • 2 Onions sliced
  • 2 cloves Gloves crushed
  • 2 tspns Sea salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Beef stock
  • 1 tspn Brown sugar
  • 3 Bay leaves
  • 3 Tblspn Gluten free flour
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  • Heat oil in frypan. Add meat, paprika garlic and onions. Stir and cook on high heat until onions are browned. Place meat into the slow cooker.
  • Add combined stock (1 1/2 cups), salt, sugar and bay leaves to the frypan. Reduce heat, scrape bottom of pan and cook for 2 minutes. Pour into slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook beef on low setting for 7 hours.
  • Mix flour and water (extra 1/2 cup) in a cup until smooth. Pour into slow cooker and stir until combined. Replace lid and cook for a further hour.
  • Serve with mashed sweet potato and steamed vegetables
