This is comfort food at its best. An easy and tasty midweek meal. Perfect for when the pantry is a bit depleted.
750g chuck steak, cut into cubes
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 Tablespoon paprika
2 medium onions, sliced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 teaspoons Sea Salt
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 Tablespoons brown sugar
3 bay leaves
3 Tablespoons gluten free flour
1/2 cup water (extra)
Cover and cook beef on low setting for 7 hours.
Mix flour and water (extra 1/2 cup) in a cup until smooth. Pour into slow cooker and stir until combined. Replace lid and cook for a further hour.
Serve with mashed sweet potato and steamed vegetables
